The first Euro Cargo Rail 66's were transported from the EMD plant in London, Ontario (Canada) to Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada) on the 21st of October 2007. These are the first of a order of 60 loco's for ECR, the French subsidiary of UK-operator EWS. The transport consisted of 3 loco's with temporary numbers 'EWS004' , 'EWS005' and 'EWS003'. The loco's will arrive in Rotterdam early November, and will continu to Tilburg, NedTrain works.
